Jes Loves Toast is my tongue-in-cheek, cheesecake cute alter ego. It’s all about bright colours, playful faces, and of course, food!
I’ve been running with scissors since I was a wee one – always making toys, often making those toys resemble food. Admittedly, I’m not a Suzie Cream Cheese kind of gal, but when I create it comes from a place of lighthearted fun.
My work is one part drive-in intermission ads (cue kitschy dancing hamburger) and two parts amigurumi obsession.
I’m a self taught, left-handed crocheter, and I picked up the skill as a form of stress relief.
My hope is that this blog can serve as an amigurumi resource for crocheters of all levels.
